You don’t have to wear skates to be part of the team.
Hill City Rollers runs on the support of amazing volunteers. Whether you want to help out on game day, take photos, lend a hand at events, learn to officiate, or help behind the scenes, there’s a place for you to get involved.
No roller derby experience needed. We’ll teach you what you need to know.
Help on Game Day
Be part of the action without stepping onto the track. Help with tickets, setup and cleanup, announcing , scorekeeping, music, photo/videography or other bout-day jobs.
Use Your Talents
There are plenty of ways to help behind the scenes, including photography, video, social media, graphic design, sponsorships, fundraising, community outreach, event planning and website work.
Become an Official
Officials are essential to roller derby. You can become a skating referee or a non-skating official (NSO), and you don’t need to know the rules before you start. We’ll help you learn.
No Experience Needed
Most volunteer roles require no derby knowledge or prior experience. We’ll help you learn everything you need to know.
